Who We Are

El Segundo Youth Cheerleading is a title-winning program serving athletes ages 5 to 14. We welcome all skill levels, creating an environment where beginners build confidence and experienced athletes continue to grow and compete at a high level.

Rooted in structure and community, our program teaches teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Our Program

Local Sideline Cheerleading

Based in El Segundo, our athletes proudly cheer for our Pop Warner football partner, the Culver City Cowboys. Each cheer team is paired with a designated football team and performs at weekly games and scrimmages throughout the season.

Games are held across Los Angeles, alternating between away locations and our home field in Culver City. Sideline cheer emphasizes teamwork, spirit, and strong foundational skills within a fun, structured environment.

Competitive Cheerleading

In addition to sideline cheer, our program competes in local and national competitions within each team’s age division and skill level.

Our competitive teams focus on technical precision, athletic progression, performance quality, and sportsmanship. With League Championships and National Titles to our name, we continue to build competitive momentum while remaining committed to athlete development and positive team culture.

Our History & Mission

Established in 1999, El Segundo Youth Cheerleading has built a strong tradition of excellence in both sideline and competitive cheer. For over two decades, we have inspired athletes to develop a love for the sport while experiencing the pride and camaraderie of being part of a team.

Our mission is to develop strong athletes, supportive teammates, and confident young leaders through dedication, discipline, and community. We provide a positive, inclusive, and structured environment where every athlete can grow in confidence, leadership, and performance ability.

Through comprehensive instruction in motions, jumps, tumbling, and stunting, athletes build a solid technical foundation while progressing safely each season. As they advance through our program, they develop increasingly complex skills and leadership qualities that prepare them for success at the high school level and beyond.

Guided by our dedicated volunteer coaches, we foster a culture that is hardworking, safety-focused, and supportive. We are committed to developing not only skilled cheerleaders, but confident leaders, dependable teammates, and positive role models within our community.
